Meteora – Floating in the Sky

Greek tour to the unique Meteora monasteries

Meteora is one of the Greece wonders and one of its biggest monastery complexes, situated on the top of the giant rocks, as if they float in clouds, high up in the skies. We will capture these amazing constructions in the light of setting/rising sun and shining stars.

Tour Schedule

Day 1 — March 30

Meeting in Sofia and leave at 23:00.

You can also land in Thessaloniki airport, where we will pick you up. In this case we will start earlier from Sofia with the local group.

Check in to the hotel and leave for the sunset if it is not too late.

Day 2 — March 31

Sunrise shooting. After the rest will check location for evening shooting positions. In the evening will shoot sunset and there will be night shooting after the dinner.

Day 3 – April 1

Sunrises, sunsets and night shooting on different locations.

Day 4 – April 2 

Sunrise shooting, then come back to the hotel for analysis of the made photos. Leave for Bulgaria after the lunch.

Day 5 – April 3

Arrive in Sofia early in the morning.

Tour price: 380 EUR

Included:

  • Assistance and help during shooting on site.

  • All taxes and passes to the shooting locations

  • Transer from airport to the hotel and back, including all following transport costs to all shooting points in the tour.

  • Accommodation in hotels and houses.

Not included:

  • Flight to Sofia or Thessalonki airport.

  • Visas and travel insurance.

  • Meal.

Payment conditions

– 30% for the reservation
– 70%  up to 20 days before the tour starting date.

Full refund in case if the event cancelled by the organizer.
50% refund in case if participant cancells participation up to one month before the event.
No refund in case if participant cancells participation during one month before the event.
Final payment has to be done at 20 days before the tour starting date.

  • Lenses: telephoto, wide, normal.

  • Gradient (hard, soft) and CPL filters.

  • Tripod and remote shutter release device.

  • Headlight or torch for the night shooting.

  • Spare batteries.

  • Notebook for the photos analysis.

  • Windproof trousers

  • Windproof jacket

  • Fleece jacket

  • Base layer

  • Hat and gloves

  • Hiking boots

  • Footwear for house (sneakers or slippers)
