The formation of relief and the Ladoga lake basin of nowadays had happened approximately 12,000 years ago because of Valday ice age and further rising of the Baltic sea level that was 9,000 years ago. And all this in order to let us enjoy boating along the archipelago of that wonderful skerry land of Karelia, rugged by many straits, to shoot the minimalistic landscape of those countless islands, to look for the seals basking in the sun and to breathe crystal clear air of the subarctic Karelian region.
All this beauty will be crowned with a night walk along the majestic channels of St.-Petersburg and visiting high points at the roof locations to shoot the bridges that are lighted with openwork bridge lamps and finally, we will play with the rays of the morning sun in the colonnades of the Kazan Cathedral.
During our trip we are going to visit Orthodox and Catholic churches for a portrait and landscape photography as well as the huge marble canyon and a well-known movie island where ‘Zapret’ (‘Taboo’) was made.
You will also have workshops devoted to shooting and post-production processes and a lot of interesting things that can hardly be described in a short text:)
