Tuscany in Spring

Tuscany in spring is the place of the ancient Etruscan castles on heels over endless green valleys with beautiful villas, lost among cypress trees that are buried in morning mists. Tuscany is one of the most famous and popular places with photographers all over the world.


Itinerary

Day 1, Meeting at the airport (May 10)

Meeting at the Milan airport. Moving to Tuscany. Accommodation. Afternoon shooting at Val D’Orcia that is considered to be UNESCO cultural heritage site. Shooting the sunset at Pienza and walking along its beautiful streets.

Day 2 (May 11)

An early rise. Morning shooting at the famous Villa Belvedere (podere Belvedere), then moving to Montepulciano. Walking near Torrenieri hills with the well known cypress grove in the afternoon.

Day 3 (May 12)

This morning we will be taking photos of sunrise at Castiglione D’Orcia walls, one of the highest points of the valley. Our destination will be the graceful cypress avenue that leads to the beautiful villa. In the afternoon we are going to visit bizarre walled cities Sorano and Pitigiano where we’ll meet the sunset.

Day 4 (May 13)

Meeting the sunrise at Pienza and taking photos of the famous Gladiator’s road. Visiting Siena. Evening shooting at Crete Senezi, - a place that is famous for magnificent moon sceneries.

Days 5— 7 (May 14— 16)

These days we keep on travelling around Tuscany and taking photos of location we like.

Day 8 (May 17)

Sunrise at Val D’Orcia, taking photos of the most favourite places. Coming back to the hotel. Transfer to the Milan airport.


The sequence of the tour program activities might be changed due to the weather conditions or other factors.

  • Lenses: wide (16-35, 12-24, 24-58, 24-70б etc.), normal (24-58, 24-70 etc.), telephoto (70-200, 70-300, 100-400 etc.)
  • Gradient (hard, soft) and CPL filters
  • Tripod and remote shutter release device
  • Headlight or torch for the night shooting
  • Spare batteries

  • Windproof trousers
  • Down jacket
